Wait…2014 is a thing of the past?

Well that was quite a year. They say as you mature, time goes by faster.  First off, I am not maturing. That’s for sure. Am I getting older? I suppose so. But I’d rather be immature. So there.

2014 was an exciting year.  It was a year of change, taking risks, and well, just plain fun. I met a lot of new families, saw a lot of returning families (many kids are almost as tall as me), held my first set of School Pics w/ a Twist Mini Sessions, traveled, had some work in Seattle Magazine and up at Ventoux Roasters, and continued to photograph our pet bunny Coco in ridiculous outfits.

As I head into my 5th year of building and growing Kerry Carty Photography, I realize a) time really does fly and b) how thankful I am to have your support. It takes a lot of effort to get your family to agree to have their photos taken,  actually follow through and schedule something, get everyone dressed, and make it to the session in one piece – with smiles. That’s impressive. 2005 was the last time the Carty family (our family of three…pre-Ethan) had their photographs taken professionally.

So here’s to a new year.  I hope 2015 is loaded with fun, laughs and trying new things (for me, that would be to schedule a family photo shoot for all four of us).

Happy New Year!
