Kerry Carty Photography bio picture

Welcome!

After spending over 15 years in the Advertising and Marketing industry, I decided to make a change. Although I'm not a huge fan of change, spending more time with my two kids and on my life-long interest of photography could no longer wait.

My photo sessions are relaxed and fun. And I take an editorial/photo journalistic approach to my photography. A few examples of my work can be found on my blog and website.

Be sure to let me know what you think, or just drop me a note at kcartyphotography@gmail.com.  If you're interested in scheduling a photo session let me know!

Thanks for visiting,

Kerry

Watch them grow.

There’s never a dull moment with Austin, Lindsey & Ragen. Especially now that Ragen is walking. These three active, curious and silly sisters are fun to photograph. Not sure why, but I’m always so surprised to see Austin & Lindsey almost looking at me eye to eye. They’re growing up too quickly! Share on Facebook

Look at them now.

Finn and Romy are now little people. Walking, talking and are well taken care of by their big sis, Elsa. It was fun seeing what’s changed – and what hasn’t. Like Finn’s ability to connect with the camera, and Romy’s…well…tongue (see for yourself in the first two pics). Share on Facebook

5 days old.

It was a pleasure meeting Sam, his brand new brother Noah, and his parents. Just five days into it, Sam seemed pretty comfortable being a first-time big brother. Share on Facebook

To all of the fun, interesting, unique and intelligent individuals out there, who also happen to be fantastic moms.

Here are just a few moms that I truly enjoy being around – some were even willing to brave a cold and wet Spring day…without craft services (snacks, hot drinks, etc.)! Gasp. Share on Facebook

It’s Aloha Friday everyday in Hawaii.

It’s never easy to leave… Our visit to the Big Island was fantastic. Lots of pool time, fruity drinks and great food. Our good friends from Oahu also stopped by for a weekend visit. What a special treat for us. It’s been almost five years since they left (us!), and we’re still waiting for them...

Lions and tigers and bears, oh my!

Had a great time at the zoo with Ariya (who just turned two), little sister Adeline, their grandma visiting from Missouri and mom. We lucked out with the weather, and saw quite a few animals basking in the sun. Linda, hope the rest of you trip was a great one and I’m sure the pony...

Smart Talk – 570 KVI.

So they’re a slightly different demographic than the toddler-aged clients I often work with, but who are we kidding…these guys are all kids at heart.  If you haven’t listened to KVI 570AM lately, I encourage you to give it a try. It’s a great way to take a break from the often hard-hitting (and pretty...

I’m four.

Loved catching up with my old friend (now 4 years old), Ellie. Take a look – a natural in front of the camera. She even picked out her own Hello Kitty lip gloss out of a box full of different colors. Decisions, decisions. These are certainly not the kind of choices you can make when...

Happy Girl’s Day (1 day early).

The Japanese Doll Festival (or Girl’s Day) is held in Japan every March 3rd. In lieu of setting up traditional Japanese dolls, we decided to celebrate by dressing up our (male) bunny Coco, in one of Ella’s American Girl doll’s kimonos. What a lucky, lucky bunny. Share on Facebook

Geography for $500.

What is Attu Island? I predict we’ll see Gavin on Jeopardy in a few years sweeping the Geography category. He didn’t make me feel all that bright as I watched him point out location after location all across the world. We’ll see if his brand new baby brother Leo will decide to challenge him, or...
